Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign a certain Premier League star for next season.

The new co-owners at the Red Devils are ready to revamp the squad next season, with the team set to miss out on the top four this term.

Crystal Palace's Michael Olise has reportedly caught the eye of a number of top clubs in the Premier League after starring over the past couple seasons.

ESPN have reported that co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has identified Olise a key transfer target to help rebuild the club team.

The 22-yer-old attacker has registered seven goals and four assists in 16 Premier League appearances this season for the Eagles.

There are reports claiming Olise does have release clause that will become active at the end of the current season.

Chelsea were reportedly close to signing the young Frenchman before the start of the season after they thought they had activated his £35million release clause, but the player penned a new deal and now has a big clause in the current deal.

The report from ESPN adds that the Red Devils could offer former Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka as part of the offer for Olise.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is hopeful the club can both Olise and Eberechi Eze next season.

"We will see, but I think yes, of course. [They have] a contract here, first of all, and the second is they feel well, otherwise they wouldn't perform like they did, but it's not the right moment now.

"I've been in football for a very long time, and I think no team in the world can say on April 26 how the squad will be the next season. We don't know, but we think that they will play for Crystal Palace next season."
