Rumours suggest Ratcliffe could call time on Ten Hag’s spell in charge a year before his deal in England runs out, with there being a belief he could look to begin his reign at the Red Devils with a new face in the dugout.
Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has been linked with the role, having previously worked in the country and won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea.
According to a new report from Football Insider, the German tactician, who is set to leave the Bavarians at the end of the season, would be ready to accept a proposal from United.
While he has been a divisive figure in recent years, Tuchel has won trophies with four different clubs – Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Bayern – and will be available come next month.

With a second-leg Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid coming up next week, Tuchel will also have the opportunity to reach his third UCL final since 2020.
