After securing their seventh consecutive league title and 14th overall, Sundowns' dominance has been there for all to see.
The one recent blemish for the Brazilians sadly is their recent exit from the CAF Champions League at the hands of Esperance De Tunis, which has extended their wait since 2016.
After raucous celebrations at FNB Stadium, Mokwena dedicated their DStv Premiership title to Motsepe who has pledged his support to the coach's cause.
"The only way to answer what it means to this club is to finish off the press conference by dedicating this title to the chairman of the Football Club, Mr. Thlopie Motsepe," he told journalists in attendance.
"He has been in good moments been so supportive. In bad moments he's been [so good] I don't know how many texts I've been receiving in the last couple of days since we got eliminated from the Champions League from him personally, and I know how busy he is. And just for him to take his time out to show support, to show appreciation.
"This one goes to you Chairman. And of course to the football club. It's the seventh in a row. I'd like to officially dedicate it to the Chairman of the Football Club."
